“You’re trembling. Like a leaf.” He cups Casey’s face in his big, callused, hand and looks deeply into those big blue eyes. “Are you scared, Case?” he asks, his eyes narrowed with something between concern and contempt.
“No,” Casey snaps, pulling back, though not really with much conviction.
“I think you are,” Zeke pulls him back with ease. He lowers his mouth onto Casey’s, feels the slight resistance then the submission.
“You’re right to be scared,” he whispers into Casey’s mouth.
“I hate you,” is the muffled, pathetic reply.
“Why? Because I can make you do anything I want? Because I make you want it, too?” Zeke chuckles, rubs his chin on top of Casey’s mussed-up hair, throws his head back so the softness of his throat is caressing Casey’s silky hair.
“No.” Casey maliciously jerks his head up; it would hurt, that sudden up thrust of hard head against soft throat. But Zeke’s reactions are good. Very good. He’s already moved and now the chuckle becomes a full laugh and he’s holding Casey at arm’s length, his eyes glittering.
“I love you so much, you know that?” he says. He watches as Casey tries to tear his eyes away but can’t.
“This is love?” Casey sneers but does not struggle. He’s dying in Zeke’s gaze and Zeke is merciless.
“Yes, Casey, this is love! And it’s beautiful. I never felt it before. I want to feel it some more!” Zeke tugs Casey into his arms, begins to waltz him around the gymnasium, round and round and round till Casey can’t keep his feet anymore and he’s being spun like a child from Zeke’s strong arms.
No, not arms.
And no, not Zeke.
